Update to our COVID-19 Protocols:
In the spring of 2023, Reston ENT adopted a masks-optional policy towards COVID-19. However, if you have a fever, cough, runny nose, or positive Strep, flu, or COVID test in the past 2 weeks, you are required to wear a mask while in our office.
We offer telemedicine as an alternative to an in person visit.
New Patients
If you are new to our practice, please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to complete the necessary paperwork. This will allow us to establish your medical file before you see your doctor.
You will need to complete our patient questionnaire (aka My Health) in the Patient Portal. If you did not receive a user name and password, please contact us so we can assist you. Completing your patient questionnaire before your appointment will expedite the check in process.
If you are unable to access the Patient Portal, you may complete the questionnaire when you arrive at our office. We recommend that you arrive 20 minutes before your appointment time. You will not be able to see the provider until the patient questionnaire has been completed.
All Patients
- Please remember to also bring the following each time you visit our practice:
- Photo ID
- Current insurance card (see our list of insurances).
- Form of payment for patient responsibility (i.e. copay, coinsurance, or deductible)
- Referral form, if required by your insurance company.
- Copies of any x-rays (e.g. CT, MRI scans) associated with your problem. Nowadays this is usually provided on a CD-ROM.
Telemedicine Visits
We offer virtual visits or televisits which allow you to be "seen" from the comfort of your own home. Our providers are able to still able diagnose and treat most conditions remotely. In some cases, an additional in person may be required. A televisit may be feasible for many follow up appointments such review of test results. These virtual visits are covered by all major insurances. More information about telemedicine visits can be found here.
Telemedicine Services Policy
Due to state-specific medical licensing regulations, our practice is only able to offer telemedicine services to patients who reside within the Commonwealth of Virginia. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide telemedicine consultations or treatments to patients located outside of Virginia at this time. This policy ensures that we comply with the laws and standards governing the practice of medicine across state lines. We recommend that patients residing outside of Virginia seek care from a licensed healthcare provider within their state to ensure continuity and quality of care.
